My First IGversary!

The last  May 16th was my first Anniversary on Instagram, just that day one year ago I posted my first nail art design on Instagram

My first post  was a combination between water marble —in fact, it was my first water marble— and rhinestones placement and a little bit of artwork, I do not know how to call that. In that moment, I did not know that it was necessary to use a white base color to makes the color of water marble pop, that is why the black color looks like a sheer polish, anyway I think that it is original and cute. There is no more words to say about this, here you have mi way to celebrate my first anniversary on Instagram. A nail art design using the IG logo, Like and comment logo and the number 1 with a little and cute Cupcake from Light in the Box

Moroccan Gradient nail art

This time I bring for you Moroccan nails. This is a classy pattern, which was possible to do with the  amazing Moroccan stencil from Whats Up Nails. I decided create it with a gradient pink to blue with a purple shade between them. In addition to that I used super shinny Acrylic rhinestones from Light in the box.

This design is super glamorous and fancy. Really It was my first time doing a nail art like this because I usually do regular designs like cartoons and flowers, but I am proud of this, especially by the rhinestones placement.

A Colorful Rainbow of Hearts

...I can smell and feel the love in the air

The rainbow and colorful designs have been my favorite nail art since I started painting my nails. I love the bright colors, neon tones and everything with colorful. Hearts are not my style, but somedays ago I received nail vinyls and there was a beautiful Hearts stencil —used in my ring finger— and here you have a piece of this, my colorful Rainbow of Hearts.

Ikat nails

What is an Ikat?

I must confess that I have seen a lot of  Ikat pattern nails everywhere, but, we really know, what is an ikat? Ok, I found out in the marvelous world of wikipedia what is that. Check out for yourself.

It was my second time doing this pattern. The first one was around 9 months ago, even I did a tutorial really were two tutorials... so long time ago, it was necessary to repeat this pattern, even I should do this frequently, but you know, there is a range of possibilities that it is hard to repeat a design, at least 2 per year.

Matte/Glitter Leopard print nail art

This time I bring to you a simple manicure, the Leopard print. It is a classic design made by nailists (nail artists) in differents shades and and styles.

One of my favorite color combination is the rainbow shades. I like the neon colors and that is why I have decided to do this design with these colors over dark base color, so it makes the colors pop. I added a matte top coat, this looks something rustic but I like how it came out because the contrast between the bright colors, glitter topper and matte effect is fantastic!... and for sure, my cute rhinestone bow from LightInTheBox put on the finishing touch.

The glittering way to do zig zag nail art

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to receive some items from one of my favorite nail art supplies stores, I am talking about Light in the box and one of those items was a box with diamond-shaped glitter sequins nail art decoration. I have seen nail art designs with these glitters and I decided to do my own version, never seen before, this is my own and unique zig zag nails featuring the incredible way to do Zig Zag.... Voilà!

Stickers on the nail!

Something new this time... my very first time using nail at decoration stickers yay! Ok, I must confess that I am used to making freehand painting in these cases like floral designs, but this is really amazing! the stickers are the best invention if you do not have enough time, tools or even if you are too lazy to do any detailed design.

Cherry Blossom "Sakura"

I have seen cherry blossom nails everywhere and since I began to see them I wanted to do my own.

This is a classic floral desing into the nail art community, pretty sophisticated since it is not a tipical roses design like the Cath kidston pattern (I love them). It is sweet, girly, fancy and I must to say that this design makes me feel relaxed.
